Where there is arguments for both methods, it all comes down to your goals. The majority of the population have a similar goal which is to drop body fat. Therefore I always suggest to do cardio after resistance training. Here’s why:

The whole idea of weight training is to progressively get stronger over time and lift heavier weights. So in doing weights prior to cardio you will have more energy to lift those weights and have a fresh supply of glycogen in the muscles.

When you do your cardio after weights your body will be naturally depleted of glycogen (carbohydrate stores) and therefore the chance of burning fat will become much higher as this will be used as your source of energy.
